Business support forums - nw8440 - VT disabled in bios

HP disabled Intel-VT in core 2 duo processors
HP secretly and deceitfully disabled the VT option in Intel core 2 duo laptops.
AMD Turion X2 does not allow OEMs to disable VT so HP's AMD laptops come with Pacifica enabled.
It's always good to read the company's forum before buying a new laptop :)

ThinkGeek :: Forever Flashlight

ThinkGeek :: Forever Flashlight:
The Forever Flashlight uses no batteries or bulbs.
"The light is shaken for about 30 seconds to recharge a capacitor and it will then provide about 5 minutes of light. As the light is shaken, a magnet passes through a metal coil generating electricity. During prolonged use it can be shaken for 10-15 seconds every 2 or 3 minutes."
